Parent Teacher Club

What is Parent Teacher Club?

A Parent Teacher Club is a group that consists of parents, teachers and school staff. The group’s goals may vary from school to school, but essentially the goals include volunteerism of parents, encouragement of teachers and students, community involvement, and welfare of students and families.

The efforts of this group have provided the school with playground equipment and a snow cone machine, document cameras for the classrooms, teacher appreciation meals, field trips including assistance for children who can’t afford to go, Family Fun Nights, Science Night, and the list goes on.

Yoshikai’s Parent Teacher Club is extremely important to the success of our students and school. The goal of the PTC is to help create a caring, safe, educational, and exciting atmosphere at our school. We hold meetings from 6:30PM – 7:30 PM in the school’s library on the second Tuesday of the month. This time is spent planning upcoming events, fundraisers, school improvements, and more. Free child care is provided during these meetings.
